![]() ![]() The hawksbill blade is perfectly ground and sharp. The clip is nicely tensioned (I do have another model with a very stiff clip so that can happen) and the knife is almost deep carried using the clip. My hand is locked in quite well with no hotspots. I have a medium hand and get a full 4 finger grip using the choil. It gives you a nice grip and the liner lock is wide enough that it does not irritate your thumb at all. The liner lock is nicely placed for your thumb and the jimping on it is perfect. Closing the blade is also easy and equally as smooth. That said the action from the flipper deployment and just slow rolling opening are very smooth. The detention on this is a bit stronger than I expected, but that insures that it flips without fail which it does. It’s sized like a chunky Spyderco Dragonfly. I’ve only had this knife for about 2 weeks, but I’ve been carrying it daily. ![]() Posted by Patrick_in_Texas on 20th Nov 2019 Any way if you’re looking for a knife and White Mountain has it in stock buy it there! Free shipping and no tax why wouldn’t buy it from them? I chose the Hawkbill version as it makes quick work of opening packages and best blade shape for a last ditch defense tool if necessary. If you’ve been considering a Spyderco Dragonfly (another great little knife by the way) because of it’s size yet felt it wasn’t sturdy enough the MKM Isonzo is a possible beefier alternative! Handy little knife with great features such as the carabiner/lanyard loop backspacer and deep carry wire pocket clip. The action was smooth, the edge was scary sharp, and overall it felt extremely solid for a knife of that size. The best place to buy pocket knives hands down! I recently purchased an MKM Isonzo Hawkbill knife and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. ![]()
